Product details

The latch seal is the gasket that sits behind the dust compartment latch on Riccar MV-series uprights. It fills the gap at the latch so air is drawn through the bag and filter path rather than sneaking in around the closure. A hardened or missing latch seal shows up as reduced pickup and, sometimes, fine dust escaping at the seam.

Order part B480-4900 whenever the compartment closes but no longer feels tight against the body.
