    Replacement dust compartment for Riccar Pivot uprights, part B224-0412G, listed against models 6370, 6470 and 6670. The compartment is the molded bay the bag sits in, and it is the part that takes the abuse every time a bag is changed in a hurry.

    Cracks around the collar opening or a broken mounting boss are the usual reasons this gets replaced, and neither can be patched reliably because the compartment has to hold a seal against the cover to keep dust in. Order it against your model number, since Pivot bodies differ from the R Series bay covered by the dust compartment kit D224-0014.
