Part B338-9000 is the printed circuit board fitted to variable-speed Prima and Wonder canister vacuums. The board takes the setting from the speed control and regulates power to the motor accordingly, which is what lets you drop suction for curtains and rugs and bring it back up for carpet.

When this board fails, the canister usually still runs but loses its range: it sticks at one speed, jumps between settings, or ignores the control entirely. Straight-suction versions of these canisters use a different board, so match the variable-speed designation to your machine.
