Replacement power switch for the Riccar Prima and Simplicity Wonder canister vacuums, part number B338-3100. This is the switch you press on the top of the canister body to start and stop the machine, and it is a wear item on any vacuum that gets used daily.
Switch failure is easy to identify. The button feels mushy or stays pressed in, the vacuum needs a second press to catch, or it runs only when the switch is held at a particular angle. None of that gets better on its own, and a failing switch can also arc internally.
