Product details

Replacement baseplate for the Riccar R25 series of upright vacuums, part B601-1214. The baseplate is the underside panel carrying the nozzle opening, and it sets how the brushroll and the suction slot meet the floor, so a cracked or badly gouged plate changes the way the machine works a carpet.

It covers the whole series: the standard R25S, the deluxe R25D and the premium pet R25P. Baseplates wear from both sides, and grit dragged underneath scores the surface until the sealing edge no longer sits flat, which leaks air the brushroll needs.
