Product details

Replacement baseplate strip for the Riccar R25 upright line, stocked under part number B601-1300. The strip runs along the underside of the cleaner and is one of the wear items that keeps the base riding correctly over carpet as the machine is pushed.

A worn or missing strip lets the base drag directly on the floor, which scuffs hard surfaces and drops the nozzle out of its intended height range. Swapping one in during a belt or brushroll service is inexpensive insurance, and the matching felt seal set (C601-5300) covers the rest of the sealing surfaces on the same machine.
