Metal-bodied agitator for Riccar R25P and R25D uprights, ordered as D601-8000 and supplied tested and boxed. The agitator does the hardest work in any upright: bearings wear, brush strips shorten, and a roll that has spent years pulling hair and carpet fiber no longer grooms the pile the way a fresh one does.
Fit a new belt at the same time, since a stretched belt will slip on a new roll and polish the pulley area. The 25 series belt is stocked as B601-2200, and if the baseplate strip has worn thin it is listed as B601-1300 for the same models.
