Product details

Jam protection circuit breaker for the Riccar R25 Standard upright, ordered as part number A603-3100. This is the resettable breaker that guards the brush motor circuit when something binds the agitator - a sock, a length of cord, a run of carpet fringe - so the motor is interrupted rather than pushed through the load.

If your R25S shuts the brush down under load and only recovers after it sits, a breaker that no longer resets cleanly is a common cause and an inexpensive one to rule out.
