Product details

Spring assist upgrade kit for Riccar PV platform uprights, part D370-4900, covering the Radiance and X9 machines. The spring assist takes part of the weight of the handle as it is reclined and raised, so the pedal mechanism and the handle joint are not carrying the whole load on their own.

Fitting the kit is a common fix on machines where the handle has become heavy to stand up, or where a tired original spring lets the handle drop faster than expected. Two related PV items sit alongside it: the spring assist axle shaft B370-4114, and the equivalent kit for MV machines, D470-2700, which is the one to order for Brilliance and Synchrony uprights instead.
