Part B355-1214 is the 5-to-1 stretch hose fitted to premium Tandem Air uprights from Riccar and Simplicity. Tandem Air machines run a second airflow path serving the hose and tools, so the hose belongs to the cleaning system rather than being an accessory bolted on afterwards.

The original Tandem Air platforms take a different hose and handle assembly, D355-1000C, while the shorter 6-to-1 hose for PV and Signature machines is B355-0714C. None of the three interchange.
