This is the lower felt seal that runs along the brushroll housing on Simplicity Synergy and Synchrony and on Riccar Radiance and Brilliance uprights. Order it as part B388-2500C.

The bottom strip takes the worst of the abuse, dragged over carpet on every pass and packed with grit, so it is usually the one that has flattened by the time an upright starts leaving lines behind. Replace it together with the top seal B388-2400C, since sealing one half and leaving the other flattened will not get the airflow back. Other parts for these machines stocked here include the Tandem Air clean air motor D486-2700 and the belt idler and Hall sensor assembly D475-0400. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
