End cap cover for the clamping-design brushroll fitted to PV and MV coded Riccar and Simplicity uprights, sold as part B375-3700. It caps the end of the agitator, keeping hair and thread away from the bearing and holding the felt seal against the housing so the nozzle keeps its airflow where it belongs.
These covers grow brittle after years of catching furniture legs, and a cracked one lets string wrap straight onto the bearing. Part B375-3700 is sold individually, so order one per end if both have gone. With the nozzle already apart, two more items are worth doing in the same sitting:
- B475-1800, the steel bearing cartridge for the same clamp design
- B375-3400, the aluminum agitator pulley used on PV machines
- B388-2400C and B388-2500C, the felt seals above and below the brushroll
