Product details

Aluminum telescoping wand, part B390-4500, built for straight-suction canister vacuums from Riccar and Simplicity. Adjust it to whatever length suits the job and it locks in place, covering everything from baseboards to stair treads to a ceiling corner without forcing a reach or a stoop for the next spot.

This is the straight-suction version, meaning it moves air only and carries no wiring for a powered nozzle, so it will not work on a canister built to run an electric powerhead through the wand.

  • Build: telescoping aluminum tube
  • Suction type: straight, no electrical contacts
  • Brands: Riccar and Simplicity straight-suction canisters
  • Part number: B390-4500

A straight-suction wand and an electric one can look nearly identical at a glance, so check the collar on your current wand for contact pins before ordering. When a telescoping wand starts sticking or will not stay locked at length, it is usually worth swapping outright rather than fighting it, since a loose joint quietly bleeds off the suction reaching the tool.
