Sold as a pair, these springs (B338-6500) tension the bag holder inside Riccar and Simplicity canister vacuums in the Prima and Wonder families. Spring pressure is what keeps the bag collar pushed firmly onto the inlet, so the airflow path stays closed the whole time the machine is running.

A weak or missing spring lets the collar drift off that inlet. The symptoms are loose dust in the bag chamber and a bag that seems to fall out of position on its own.
