D380-2714 is the complete clean-out door assembly for PV series uprights from Simplicity and Riccar. Opening this door gives access to the air path so a clog can be cleared without disassembling the rest of the machine.

These doors see rough treatment over the years: pried open with a screwdriver, dropped onto hard flooring, and stepped on during service work. Once the door cracks or a latch tab snaps off, air leaks in at the seam, and the customer feels that leak as weak suction at the floor.

Replace the seal along with the door rather than reusing the old one, since a seal that has taken a permanent set will still leak behind even a brand new door.

If the door was missing or propped open for any length of time, inspect the surrounding housing edge for cracks too, since a new door forced into a damaged opening will not seal properly either. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
