Upgrade kit built around an electric hose for Moxie and Gusto style canisters, part D395-0800. Rather than swapping the hose alone, this package renews the hose, the PC board and the wiring on older full-size canisters, and it comes with a strain relief.

Electric hoses carry power to the powerhead as well as air to the machine, so a broken conductor inside the wall kills the brushroll while suction carries on as normal. Once a hose reaches that stage, the board and wiring it worked with are usually of the same vintage, which is the reasoning behind replacing the set together.
