Part C390-6600 is a Plastiflex-built wand for Riccar and Simplicity central vacuum systems that use Type C hose. Rather than running an external pigtail down the outside of the shaft, this wand carries its powerhead wiring inside the tube wall itself, so there is no loose cord along the length of it to catch on furniture or wear through.
Central vacuum hose and wand systems are not interchangeable across types, and the electrical contacts differ by generation even within the same brand. Compare the coupling end of your current wand to the photos on this listing, and confirm your system uses Type C hose, before you order. This is the wand alone; the hose and the powerhead it eventually connects to are listed separately.
