This is the replacement plug for the pigtail cord on Riccar and Simplicity Tandem Air power nozzles, sold as B351-8400. The pigtail is the short lead that leaves the nozzle and connects it to the wand circuit, and the plug on the end of it is what actually carries current into the brushroll motor.
Plugs on a power nozzle live a hard life. They get stepped on, yanked at an angle and pulled out by the cord rather than the body, and eventually a pin loosens or the housing splits. Fitting a new plug restores a solid connection and is far cheaper than replacing the nozzle.
