Two-piece telescopic wand assembly in plastic, part C626-1214, for Riccar and Simplicity Symmetry and Vibrance upright vacuums. It is the onboard extension wand that lifts off the machine and joins to the stretch hose for above-floor cleaning.
The two sections collapse into each other for storage on the vacuum body and pull out to working length when you need to reach ceiling corners, stair treads or the tops of door frames. Wands typically fail at the joint after repeated twisting, and a split section leaks air where it should be carrying it, so the tool at the end feels weak even though the motor is fine.
