Handle wiring harness for the Riccar SupraLite RSL3, part A434-3143, finished in smokey gray and built with the newer strain relief. The harness carries power up through the handle to the switch, and the strain relief is what keeps the cable anchored when the machine gets tugged along by its cord.

Power that cuts in and out as the handle flexes, or copper showing where the cable enters the handle, points at the harness rather than at the motor. Replacing it is a far cheaper repair than most owners expect.
