Part D020-0700 is the foot pedal assembly for the 20 Series uprights, covering the Riccar Vibrance R20 and the Simplicity Symmetry S20. Press the pedal and the handle releases; the same pedal carries the load again every time the handle is stood back up.
A worn pedal shows itself in three ways: a handle that drops without being asked, a pedal that stays pushed down after your foot comes off, or a cracked face where the shoe lands. None of them get better with use.
