Part B227-0014 is the pressure switch mount used in the body of Riccar Vibrance and Simplicity Symmetry uprights. It is the moulded bracket that holds the pressure switch in position inside the housing so the switch stays aligned with its hose and cannot shift as the machine is worked.
The switch itself reads the vacuum in the airpath and is what tells the machine when the bag has filled or the path has blocked. That reading is only as good as the mount, so a cracked or loose bracket can show up as a bag indicator that triggers at the wrong moment or not at all. Replace the mount whenever the body has been apart and the bracket looks fatigued.
