This assembly, part D431-1400, combines the upper cord hook and the power cord into one replacement unit for Riccar Vibrance and Symmetry uprights. Buying the two together makes sense because the failure that damages one usually damages the other: the cord gets tugged off the hook at an angle, the hook cracks, and the cord jacket chafes at the same spot.
