Crimp ring terminal, part F21, sized for No. 10 studs and for 14-16 AWG wire. Ring terminals are the connection to use anywhere a wire has to be captured under a screw or a stud and stay there, because unlike a spade or a quick-disconnect the ring cannot back off the post if the fastener loosens.

Typical work for this terminal is a ground lead landed on a machine chassis, a motor lead under a terminal block screw, or the repair of a cord that was cut short at the strain relief. Strip only as much insulation as the barrel will cover, crimp with a tool matched to the wire range, and pull-test the joint before the panel goes back on. A ring for lighter 22-18 gauge wire is stocked as 15200.
