Every steering input a power nozzle receives passes through one joint. The swivel neck ties the wand to the SEBO ET-1 and ET-2 nozzle and lets the head turn and tilt as it follows the floor, and part 2307DG is the complete assembly in dark grey.

Buying it whole is the point. A neck cracked at the pivot, a joint that has gone stiff on one axis, or a nozzle that no longer latches onto the wand are all dealt with in one operation rather than three, with no chasing of individual bushings and pins that may or may not be sold on their own.

The symptoms build gradually. First the head starts resisting a change of direction, then it needs a wrist flick rather than a nudge to turn, and eventually it will only steer one way. A neck that has developed play is just as telling: the nozzle wags behind the wand and stops tracking where you point it. Since the neck is also what holds the nozzle captive, a worn latch that lets the head drop off the wand is the same repair.

Check how the nozzle sits on the wand before deciding. If the head only wobbles when the wand is pushed home and feels solid once the two are locked together, the fault may be at the wand end rather than in the neck.
