SEBO Extension Hose for the Balance A1

Ceiling corners, curtain tops and the back of a stair run all sit past what a machine reaches when it is held out at arm's length. Part 8830AM adds a flexible section between the Balance A1 and its tools, so the nozzle can go where the body of the machine cannot follow and the work is done without the wrist doing the bending. SEBO shows it as item 10 in the Balance A1 parts diagram.

A flexible section changes what the machine is good for rather than simply making it longer. With the hose in place, the A1 can be set down on a stair while the nozzle works two treads above it, held still while a car interior is done seat by seat, or kept on the floor while an overhead vent is cleared. Angles that would otherwise mean lifting and balancing the whole machine become straightforward.

Hoses give trouble long before they look damaged. A split seam or a section crushed by a door or a chair leg bleeds off pull continuously, and because the loss is spread along the length there is rarely any obvious point of failure to find. If the tools have gone weak while the filter and the nozzle are both known to be clear, flex the hose slowly with the machine running and listen for the draught. A hose in that state is worth replacing rather than taping. This is the genuine SEBO extension hose for the A1, not a universal length cut down to fit.
