SEBO Filter Cover for AIRBELT E3 Premium — Pastel Mint

No other moulding on an AIRBELT E3 Premium gets opened as often as the filter cover, since it has to come away every time the filter is checked or renewed. 8224CMER is that panel in pastel mint, matched to bodies built in the same shade.

Frequency of use is precisely what finishes it. Every lift loads the catch, and the hinge tabs flex through the same arc each time, so what breaks is usually a tab the size of a fingernail on an otherwise undamaged panel. That distinction is worth knowing, because such a cover still looks entirely serviceable while doing none of its job. Without a firm latch the media cannot be held square in its landing, and a filter sitting at an angle gives the airstream an easy route round the outside of it. Fitting a new panel takes about as long as the filter change that broke the old one.

There is a second panel on this canister that photographs almost identically. SEBO's AIRBELT E drawing puts the filter cover at item 24 and a separate cover for the exhaust air filter at item 4, each offered in matching body colours, with the exhaust side numbered in the 8249 series. Establish which compartment you have open before ordering; the two look alike and do entirely different work.
