SEBO Power Brush Floor Head for the Balance A1

Carpet gives up embedded grit only when something agitates the pile, and that is the entire purpose of a driven floor head. Part 95030AM is the SEBO power brush for the Balance A1: a full-width head with its own motorised roller rather than a plain suction plate, shown at item 15 in the machine's parts diagram.

Airflow on its own lifts what is sitting on top of a carpet. A turning brush reaches below that, breaking the grip of sand and pet hair that has worked down between the tufts and standing the pile up so the airstream can carry it off. That is why the same machine cleans noticeably better on carpet with this head fitted than with an unpowered nozzle, and why it is the head to have on the end of the wand when carpet and rugs are the main surfaces in the house.

A head that has taken years of hair wound around the roller ends, that rattles at the neck, or that has cracked where the wand enters is worth replacing outright rather than patching. The electrical and mechanical connections on a genuine SEBO head are what keep the roller driven and the joint tight under load.

Before ordering a whole head, clear the roller. Hair and thread wind into a solid collar at each end and will stall a brush that is otherwise perfectly good, and a bare patch in the bristles usually means the roller has been running against something rather than that the head itself has failed. A genuine SEBO Balance A1 power brush is the answer when the drive has gone or the housing is cracked.
