Simplicity built the S26, the Allergy Premium upright, around containment rather than treating dust control as a secondary feature: a charcoal-infused HEPA media bag, a pleated HEPA post-filter, plus an electrostatic secondary stage that adds a charcoal layer of its own, together rated to hold 99.97 percent of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns.
Where a standard upright loses ground with allergy sufferers is at the two moments dust escapes easiest: mid-pickup and at empty-out. The HEPA stages handle the first by keeping fine particles from returning through the exhaust, and a sealed bag handles the second by letting you pull captured debris straight to the trash without opening a cup and stirring it back into the room's air. The charcoal layers address the third thing people actually notice, which is odor rather than particles.
The rest of the machine is conventional in the good sense. An 11 amp motor drives a self-adjusting nozzle that handles the change from carpet to hard floor on its own, a carpet and floor selector turns the brushroll off when you would rather not agitate a bare surface, and the belt is a lifetime belt with a jam sensor so a stuck roller stops the drive instead of burning through. Rubber wheels and a furniture guard keep the machine from marking what it passes, and the attachments reach about 11 ft.
