On the Prima, the neck is the joint that ties the wand and handle to the power nozzle — it carries your steering input and keeps the suction channel lined up as the machine pivots. When the neck cracks or its lock wears out, the nozzle flops, the handle will not stay upright, and air starts leaking at the joint. This genuine Tacony neck assembly drops into place as one complete unit and brings back the solid, connected feel the machine had when new. Part #D338-0200.
