SCPN is the complete compact power nozzle assembly for the Simplicity Wonder, the head fitted to the WONDERP.CPN build of that canister, finished in black.
Compact here means narrower than Simplicity's full size nozzle, not simpler. It is a driven head: Simplicity's Wonder parts book shows a motor assembly, a belt and an agitator inside it, along with a squeegee, a baseplate with its own seal and a headlight lens, so the brushroll turns under its own power rather than waiting on airflow to spin it.
The narrower body is what earns it a place. It steers between table and chair legs, along a stair edge and up to a baseboard where a full size head bumps and stops short, while still agitating carpet in a way a passive floor tool cannot. Wonder owners who already have the full size nozzle often keep this one on hand for the tighter half of the house rather than as a replacement for it.
Because it is motorized, it wears on a schedule of its own apart from the canister body. A nozzle that goes quiet while the machine still pulls suction normally points at the belt or at something wound around the agitator, and the baseplate seal is worth a look at the same time, since a head that has lost its seal drags on carpet and gives up lift. Height matters too on a driven head: set too low for the carpet underneath, the brush works harder, drags the nozzle and wears its own bristles faster than the floor warrants.
