Part D434-1800 upgrades the power cord on the Simplicity F3700 ultralightweight upright, in the Hall-sensor configuration. The kit is also catalogued against the Riccar RSL5 equivalent, and Simplicity lists the F3700 as the fitting model.

Cords on lightweight uprights lead a hard life, dragged around door frames and wound by hand at the end of every job. Once the outer jacket has split, or the machine cuts out when the cord is flexed near the body, replacing the whole cord run is the correct repair rather than taping it.
