Product details

Genuine thermostat wire harness for Simplicity canister vacuums, part B395-1400. The harness is the wiring loom that connects the motor's thermal protection switch into the machine's circuit — the safety device that cuts power when the motor runs hot, typically because of a full bag, a blocked hose or a clogged filter.

If a canister shuts off under load and will not restart, or the thermal cutout never trips at all, the harness and its connectors are worth inspecting before you condemn the motor. Wiring in this position sees heat cycling and vibration, and a chafed or corroded lead can mimic a much more expensive fault.
