Black nozzle bumper for Simplicity PV uprights, part B370-0543. The bumper wraps the leading edge of the nozzle housing and is the strip of trim that meets the furniture, baseboards and door frames instead of letting the housing itself take the impact.
It is a wear item by design. Once the bumper has torn, gone brittle or worked loose from its channel, every knock lands on the molded housing behind it, and cracked nozzle housings are a far more involved repair than a length of replacement trim.
