This angle adapter (B240-0500) is a service part for the Simplicity S65 multi-use wand vacuum. It sets the bend between wand and nozzle, so the head lies flat to the floor while the wand stays at a workable angle in your hand.

The S65 has a full parts group behind it. The metal wand is B240-0200, the crevice and dusting combo tool is B240-0400, and the carpet / bare floor nozzle assembly is C240-0600, so a broken adapter never means buying a whole cleaning end.
