    Metal cyclonic filter for the Simplicity S67 stick vacuum, part C670-1000. It sits inside the dust cup and handles the first stage of separation, spinning debris out of the airstream before it can load the finer media further along.

    Cyclonic filters clog gradually rather than all at once. Fine dust works into the mesh, airflow tapers off, and the machine feels tired for weeks before anything looks obviously wrong. Rinsing and drying the mesh restores most of that, but a filter that has been damaged or will no longer come clean should be swapped rather than nursed along.
