A hose that has cracked, split at a cuff or worn through at a flex point bleeds airflow before it ever reaches the floor tool, which is why a tired Scout often comes back to life with nothing more than a new hose.

    The Scout and the Scoutplus do not use the same hose. Scoutplus owners running the power nozzle should order the powered hose assembly kit listed for that machine, part C482-0003K.
