C481-0003 is the complete floor tool for the Simplicity Scout canister vacuum, the wide head at the end of the wand that does the actual work on carpet and hard floors. It arrives assembled, so there are no parts to transfer over from the tool coming off the machine.
Floor tools take more abuse than anything else on a canister. They get dropped down stairs, dragged along baseboards and worn thin where they ride the floor, and once the tool stops sitting flat the pickup at the edge of the head drops off noticeably.
