    C482-0006 is the middle body section for the Simplicity Scoutplus. The Scoutplus and the Scout share a great deal of hardware, but not this piece: the Scout takes C481-0006 instead, and the two are not interchangeable.

    Check the badge on the machine if you are unsure which one you have. The Scoutplus is the version set up to run a powered nozzle, and it carries its own control panel board, C482-0011, as another point of difference. A cracked middle housing is worth replacing rather than taping, since this section locates the panels around it and a section that has lost its shape leaves the whole body sitting badly.
