Dust cover lever in sparkle silver, part B480-0734, for SCR-series Simplicity Synchrony uprights. The lever is the handle you pull to release the dust cover when changing a bag, and because it is worked on every bag change it eventually snaps at the pivot or wears until the latch no longer catches.

The sparkle silver finish matches the trim used on that generation of machine, so a replacement blends in rather than standing out as an obvious repair.
