This is the solution bottle cap for the Rex Air E Series AquaMate, part R11132. It seals the top of the solution bottle on the shampoo system so the cleaning fluid stays where it belongs and feeds through under proper pressure.

A cap sounds trivial until it stops sealing. Stripped threads or a hardened gasket let air in, and a bottle drawing air rather than holding a seal dribbles solution instead of feeding it evenly. What you see at the nozzle is an inconsistent spray, heavy on one pass and almost nothing on the next, and often a wet patch under the machine where solution has escaped around the neck.

Check the threads on the bottle itself while you are replacing the cap, and seat the new one squarely so it tightens all the way down. Confirm your machine is an E Series AquaMate before ordering.
