Product details

33769 is listed in Powr-Flite's parts catalogue as the Predator support arm, filed as hardware for automatic scrubbers. It is stocked here as the squeegee support arm for the Powr-Flite PAS17BA-BC and PAS20BA-BC scrubbers, where the arm carries the squeegee assembly at the back of the machine and holds it in position against the floor as the scrubber moves, so the blade tracks flat instead of dragging at an angle.

  • Part: 33769
  • Fits: Powr-Flite PAS17BA-BC and PAS20BA-BC
  • Assembly: squeegee mounting arm
  • Manufacturer's listing: Predator support arm, automatic scrubber hardware

A scrubber that clips a loading-dock bumper or a doorway while backing out usually bends this arm first, since it rides low at the rear of the machine. Bending it tilts the blade off level, dropping one end into the floor while the opposite end rides up and misses the pass entirely, so a machine that streaks on only one side rather than across the full width points to the arm before the blades.

Because the arm sets the squeegee's angle to the floor, a replacement should be checked for a clean, even sweep across the full width of the blade once it is fitted, rather than assumed correct simply because the part bolted on without trouble. A slightly bent arm can still tighten into place and look correct while leaving the blade a few degrees off level.
