Part B625-1014 is a temporary spacer for the suction inlet seal on Vibrance and Symmetry uprights and on the 7000 and 8000 series, as listed in Riccar's own parts catalog. It ships as the spacer only, with the inlet seal itself sold as a separate item.
Positioned behind the seal, the spacer holds it at the depth the assembly needs so that the connection carrying air from the nozzle into the bag chamber seals fully. A leak at that connection is easy to miss, since the motor still sounds right and the brushroll still spins even as a chunk of suction never makes it to the floor.

Fit a new inlet seal at the same time rather than pairing the spacer with an old, compressed one, so the assembly seats at the depth Riccar specifies rather than at whatever depth a flattened seal happens to leave.
