Panasonic's MC-V7335 upright takes its on/off command through a pivoting lever that presses the power switch inside the housing, and part AC15EZAZ00 replaces that lever.

It is a high-cycle plastic part: every start and stop loads the same pivot. It goes stiff, starts sticking half way, and often snaps at the pivot boss — at which point the machine either will not start or, worse, will not switch off without pulling the plug. The switch itself is frequently fine.

Before deciding, press the switch directly with the lever removed. If the machine responds cleanly, the lever is your fault. While the housing is open, look at the switch contacts for heat discolouration, since a lever that has been fought with usually means the switch has been sitting half-engaged for a while.
