Product details
Numatic mounts a red rocker switch up on the Henry HVR 200 motor head, where it stays visible and within easy reach rather than tucked low on the housing the way some competing brands do. Part 220552 is Numatic's replacement for that switch when it stops responding the way it should.
Because the switch sits exposed on top of the machine, it collects knocks and thousands of press cycles over the years, more wear than a switch mounted flush and protected ever sees. The internal contacts eventually wear down, and what starts as a slightly mushy feel under the thumb tends to progress to a switch that needs pressing twice, or one that occasionally fails to register at all until it is pressed at a slightly different angle.
A Henry that will not power on is often blamed on the motor or the cord first, since those are the parts people think of as likely to fail, but the exposed top-mounted switch is worth checking before either. It is a low-cost part and a straightforward swap once the housing top is opened.
Before ordering, rule out the simpler causes first: check that the outlet itself is live and that the cord is seated fully at both ends, since those take a minute to confirm and cost nothing. If the machine still will not respond once those are ruled out, the switch is the next and most likely place to look.
