Once this joint stiffens or wears loose, steering gets noticeably harder, and the extra torque you are putting into every turn gets transmitted into the hose cuff and the nozzle neck instead of absorbed by a joint designed for it. Left long enough, that strain shows up as cracking somewhere else on the nozzle. A joint that has also lost its grip entirely, rather than just stiffened, will let the nozzle flop or spin loosely instead of holding an angle, which is the more advanced stage of the same wear.
This is the small-neck version, part KS4153196, built for the Titan TCS973. Match your existing joint's neck size before ordering, since neck sizes are not interchangeable across these nozzles.
