Ordered as TS120-S59-UE, this is Tornado's 20 inch stand-on disk scrubber fitted with TPPL batteries. The operator rides a rear platform, so cleaning speed is set by the machine rather than by walking pace.

TPPL cells are the reason to choose this variant. Thin-plate pure lead chemistry accepts a fast charge and tolerates opportunity charging between shifts, which suits schools, distribution sites and retail floors running the machine more than once a day and unable to leave it on a charger for a full overnight cycle. Being sealed, they also stay off the watering schedule.

The same stand-on machine is stocked with lead acid batteries as TS120-S59-UC and with AGM as TS120-S59-UG. Walk-behind builds on the identical 20 inch deck are the self-propelled TS120-S53-UE and the brush-assist TS120-S45-UE.
