Tornado BR 16/3 Cylindrical...

Product details
Most compact scrubbers ride a flat disc pad. The BR 16/3, part 99406, runs cylindrical rolls at 660 RPM instead, and rolls turn against the surface rather than skating over it, so solution and agitation reach down into grout lines and the texture of safety tile.
This is a corded machine rather than a battery one, with a 16 in. cleaning width, three gallons of solution, three of recovery and a 50 ft cord, rated by Tornado at 3,200 square feet an hour. Brush pressure adjusts, so the same deck sets light for sealed floor and heavier for textured tile, and it scrubs in reverse as well as forward, which is what lets it finish a dead-end aisle without turning around.
The deck carries two rolls, so they wear and get replaced as a pair. Tornado supplies it with two soft scrub brushes and two squeegee assemblies of two blades each, and lists other roll grades for raised rubber disc flooring, ceramic and paver brick.
Both tanks lift out for filling and emptying, the transport wheels come off, and at 67 lbs and 71 dB it is light and quiet enough to run in occupied space. Tell us what your floor surface actually is and we can say whether a cylindrical deck earns the different service routine over a disc machine.
