Part 91440 is the Tornado CVD 38/2, a 15 in. dual motor commercial upright that ships with its onboard tools. Where a single motor upright routes one motor to both suction and brush drive, this machine gives the brushroll its own dedicated motor.
Splitting the brush drive onto a second motor means brushroll speed is no longer tied to how hard the vacuum motor happens to be working, so agitation on the carpet stays more consistent as a bag fills or a filter starts to load. That is the usual argument for paying more for a dual motor upright: steadier brush contact through a shift, at the cost of an extra motor to eventually service. It also lifts productivity to roughly 3,400 sq. ft. per hour against the single motor CVD 38's 2,657.
This model carries the Carpet and Rug Institute's Silver certification, the tier Tornado's dual motor CVD machines are rated at, alongside a three-stage sealed True HEPA filtration path.
