Product details
Four venturi powerheads share one rolled-top 55 gallon steel drum on Tornado's Jumbo Vac 98451, the largest build in the external filter air-operated line. Compressed air drives every head, so no electric motor is involved anywhere in the setup, and Tornado rates the four together at 258 CFM with 200 inches of water lift. It earns its place on recovery jobs where sheer volume of debris or liquid outweighs any need for reach or finesse, which is the usual reason a crew steps up from a single or dual head unit on the same work.
Reach is unusually long for a drum vacuum at this size: Tornado publishes 50 feet of vertical lift and 100 feet of horizontal run, so the drum can sit at ground level while hoses work several floors up or a long way out. Each head carries its own external filter position, with two poly filters totaling 3,748 square inches, keeping media outside the drum so it can be checked without disturbing what has already been collected.
- Powerheads: four venturi, 258 CFM, 200 inch water lift
- Power source: compressed air, 50 HP compressor minimum
- Drum: 55 gallon rolled-top steel with industrial steel cart
- Filtration: two external poly filters, 3,748 square inches
- Reach: 50 feet vertical lift, 100 feet horizontal
- Airline: 1 inch diameter recommended
Four heads draw hard on a compressed air line, and Tornado specifies a 50 HP compressor minimum with a 1 inch airline and straight-through couplings, none of which ship with the unit. Operating pressure runs roughly 50 to 75 psi for light debris and 75 to 100 psi for heavier material, so match the setting to the job rather than leaving it at one figure. Rotate through the filter positions on a set schedule instead of waiting for one head to visibly lag the others. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
